This year was One Vision’s 49th annual Benefit Walk and Human Foosball Tournament held on Sat Sept 15th in Clear Lake, Iowa. One Vision is a nonprofit charitable organization that provides services to more than 550 special needs individuals so they may achieve greater independence through personal choice and community involvement. Connecting people with purpose is the essence of what they do. This includes helping individuals find jobs in their communities, supporting them in homes that meet their needs and wants, and encouraging them to pursue personal interests. Hoover’s has employed individuals who are a part of One Vision, and we believe that these a great programs are wonderful at getting special needs individuals involved in our community and to give them purpose.
A few from our crew created a foosball team and had a blast at the tournament in Clear Lake! We played three times and got second to last place among seven teams. Team placement went by overall points. We went up against some tough competition, but we walked away with our hearts full! We can’t wait to support One Vision next year!
